My Favorite Movies with Villain Turn into Hero (Bad Turns into Good) Concept…

You didn’t know that Bad turns into Good character or rather “Villain Turns into Hero” is a concept you will like until you watched all these animation movies and it makes you feel giddy inside because you probably watch these movies with your nephews and nieces; off course! (Well maybe that’s a great excuse to watch animation movie without them judging).

Sometimes you still spoil your childish side and watch animation movie that you love and this concept “bad guy turns good”, “villain turns into a hero” is an amazing concept, how cool is that?

5. Mr.Gru (Despicable Me)

Everyone knows Mr. Gru or maybe you’re not a fan of animation movie if you don’t know him. Let me tell something about this guy. This despicable guy as what they say in the movie. 

He lives all alone in his mansion (a super high-tech mansion) by the way. The entire super “you never know what it is” high-tech gadget is in there but my favorite is the “freeze ray machine”; I’m just saying. He even has a factory for missiles inside his mansion operate by his most famous loving MINIONS.

Well if you do not know minions in this time and date of the year then probably you just wake up in your deep slumber because of MINIONS are so popular; they are color yellow, they have “unknown language” which until now I can’t comprehend. They are naughty but cute anyway. They love banana and love to sing while working especially the “banana song”. It sings in my head like this “Bananahaaaaa…potatonahaaaa…” anyways enough of the long introduction but the minions the great help with Mr. Gru evil plan not until the three cute girls arrive in Mr. Gru life and house and mess everything even his “evil plan” and his goal to be “evil” himself.

Agnes, Margo, and Edith as you know are going to be used in the evil cookie plan of Mr. Gru so adopting them can be used as the turns of the event didn’t really happen that is supposed to happen. Mr. Gru becomes accustomed to the presence of the three girls, makes him melt in their cuteness, fall for their sweetness and the next thing he knew he is willing to protect his three adopted daughters no matter what and he even makes the MINIONS as his adopted daughter’s personal maid.

His opponent Vector takes on the “villain” role as he wanted to take over Mr. Gru position and surpasses him as a villain who self-proclaimed himself as the smartest and has more high-tech gadgets to use in his “evil plan” to eliminate Mr. Gru. It’s a competition for the villain anyways, who is the most badass?

4. Megamind

Megamind has been trapped in his fate that this very world put on his shoulder. Looking back on his past; He’s parents save him from his dying planet, sent to a time capsule spaceship but he doesn’t know that at that very moment his life about to change. Traveling in the same course with him is “Metro Man” and from that very moment, they are in completion with one another. The family that supposed to be his family becomes Metro Man family and his spaceship end up landing inside the jail. 

He is so smart that he started to invent everything inside the jail as he grew up he accepts the fact that he’s fate is bound to do “evil” and be the worst villain this world ever have and his ultimate plan is to eliminate Metro Man.

Well, who would ever think that a perfectly good main a character Metro Man is also known as Metro City “superhero” with matching “superpowers” play an act to be bygone and then what?. Metro city without Metro man is a mess. A villain without a superhero to fight too is a completely boring life.

That’s become a problem to Megamind, he is bored without a superhero to fight with all of his evil plans so he created another “superhero” that he named “Titan” which is sadly more willing to do bad than good as simple as it goes, he willingly takes over him as the villain. ? Everything turns upside down and what happens to your ever hated villain now? 

3. Trolls (Branch)

Oh! Trolls are so cute. They are so colorful. Their hair; how I love it. Each of them got a unique hair color. They love to sing and love to celebrate but there is one. This one Troll name “Branch” whose hair is color black and skin is pale contrast everything that the ever so happy trolls wanted to do. Not so much of a villain with an evil plan and anything like that but mostly contradictions to the views of the majority of happy trolls.

Well, they are reasons why Branch is like; a dark past that he’s grandmother die because of the Bergen that hears him sings and supposed to get him but get’s his grandmother instead. His grandmother is long gone and nowhere to be found and don’t ask me because I don’t know where she is either? Maybe the Bergen ate her already. Oops! Didn’t mean to say that but Poppy is just way too positive to just probably care or she just doesn’t really care at all, she continues to be determined in her life just to sing and be happy, makes invitations and cards with glimmering glitter not until she knows, until Branch told her the story, not until the Bergen get in the way that made Branch sings “True Colors” when they are caught up and trapped inside the casserole and ready to be eaten by the Bergen. When he sings with Poppy, the whole Trolls have their color back and finally, he has the change of heart, chooses to be good. 

Bergen is the real villain in this movie but that is the reason why Trolls is in the list cause the Bergen crowned King turns into good side too as he falls in love in the maid in his mansion that becomes friends with the Trolls.  

2. Wreck-it Ralph

The video game is still promoted in this movie, guess what? Wreck-it Ralph is the wrecker in the video games of “Fix-it Felix” he literally smashes and wrecks the whole building while Felix fixes it with his hammer. 

Feeling unappreciated and unloved; Ralph leave his own game just to find something worthy that will bring back his pride and can showcase his self-worth. Going to another game “Hero’s Duty” to get the medal; he succeeds in getting his own medal but when he’s about to escape with the spaceship he landed on the wrong game “Sugar Rush” causing so much trouble again meeting Vanellope the “glitch” which she later found out that’s she is a Princess only wanted to be replaced by the real villain “Turbo” who gets turbo because he game cross from his own game to another game pretending that he is the King of the “Sugar Rush” land, erasing Venellope memories from all the characters of “Sugar Rush” citizens and racers.

Ralph journey in the Sugar Rush is a roller coaster ride for the only wanted his medal back but end up helping Venellope. They get to know each other hardships and along the way, as they solve their troubles they become friends and Ralph accepts the fact that he is a villain and that is not bad, he is only doing his job and he is good.

1.    Zootopia

Judy Hoops is an ambitious rabbit which by the way had a lot of bunny siblings. They grew on a farm which their livelihood is to sell carrots but Judy doesn’t want to have the same old life as his mother, father and her entire bunny clan. She dreams to be a “police officer” scratch that not just an ordinary police officer but the first-ever bunny police officer. 

On the other hand, Nick Wilde is a fox which is ‘pretending to be a good dad to his “elephant want to be supposed to be son” but he is not, he meant to scam people, make them believe in him and then he will get what he wants to earn money, that’s what he does for a living to cheats and liars.

Their roads met and Judy fall under the scheme of Nick but there is always a way to redeem yourself but in a case in Nick side, he has no choice. Judy kinda blackmailed him so he can help her out in one of her cases in the police department; solving the case together.

Nick wanted to get through the entire disturbance that Judy brought to him so he agreed to help her to solve the case which leads both of them to a better place. Judy as a real first bunny police officer and Nick became a police officer too and Judy partner. 

From being a scammer, liar and living a low life most of his life; he is a change Fox ready to service Zootopia from bad persons and criminals, from animals like him before.
