Tips to Protect Your Mental Health On Social Media.

Kim Taehyung a.k.a. BTS V pic for motivation.

To avoid involving yourself in online arguments, being toxic, burn out, and disturbing.

Here are my ways to survive social media that I am sharing with you.

1. Know yourself. The first key not to be swayed by the left and right opinions is to know yourself better. If you know yourself better, the opinions of others may never ever shaken you.

Here is a thing you should know; haters stir up your subliminal emotions, that emotion that is a trap within you- fear, anger, hatred, insecurity. Haters are best to bring that out.

2. Love Yourself. If you love yourself enough. No one’s opinions can shatter you cause you love yourself the way you are. None of their opinions will hit you and cut deep cause first you know yourself enough.

3. Karma is real. Always remember “what you reap, you sow”, “what goes around comes back around”. Do not move a muscle against those haters fighting teeth against teeth won’t matter and they will only love the attention for they aim for it. Trust Karma will make a way for them to reap what they sow.

4. Live happily, unbothered. Label and name-calling is a toxic culture that is allowed on the internet but never in real life. You don’t call people names in real life for you lost decency. Name-calling and labeling is been a horrible attitude even kids know that. Parents teach their kids not to name call anyone for the simple reasons it is a bad attitude. Do not let anyone label you or call you names even on social media. Protect yourself but never ever involved in a fight. Be decent enough not to go to their level. Block, Report, and move on is the best way.

5. Do not base your decisions on the majority; you are an individual capable to think of your own. Do not rob yourself of the right to think for your own. Never ever throw your “instincts” and “guts” just for the shake of conformity. If you know the objectives are for “good purposes” support and encourage. If not learn to weigh the situation and trust your own instincts what is the best way to do. You decide on your own and be responsible for your own actions.

6. Speak for yourself. Never ever let other people shut you up. Be your own power, your voice is your own and to have the right to speak up if you know and you can see that something is wrong and fishy specially when the majority has a “fishy” attitude towards you.

Be a better person.  Walk the talk. Practice what you preach.

Stay Happy! Be healthy! =)
